what we’re doing to customize your event

You know how we feel by now. We HATE boring. Been there, done that (Said us NEVER because we don’t do boring!).

But sometimes, when clients have had an idea in their head and they didn’t want to budge, we did need to (doesn’t happen as often now since our clients come to us with trust based on our many years of experience and clients see what we do).

So what are a few examples of what we did this year in 2023 to add some edge, push the boundaries, and make our clients have the most spectacular events? Let’s go!

Planned by Smiling Through Chaos

The STC clients wanted greenery with white and a is open to a touch of black. We pushed the envelope with a split black and white dance floor, a head table of lush flowers and a statement chandelier, varying height candles on the fireplace, and coordinated split black and white design escort cards, menus, and signature drink signs.

Make it stand out

STC combined the sentimental details with the customized designs to create beautiful Specialty Drink signs.

Planned by Smiling Through Chaos

Edison lights, twinkle lights mixed into groups of greens and spices like Rosemary, foam flowers, all hanging from above the dance floor, and a mix of 3 different centerpieces throughout the reception ballroom, creating a sultry, romantic vibe.

DESIGN AND PLANNING

This special girl deserved a sign-in board that was unique just like her, so we created a never-done-before board that appeared like post its all over for people to sign with their congrats.

WE ARE ALL ABOUT THE IDEAS

For this intimate Vow Renewal, we needed pops of a beautiful color palette mixed with a crystal archway.

REHEARSAL DINNER

For this Rehearsal Dinner we planned, we needed to do something completely different than the wedding that would be the next day, and they wanted a very casual look, “Barnyard Chic.” With beautiful flowers and personalized details, guests first saw this seating chart that was dreamt up before heading into the rehearsal and dinner.

STC is all about a “theme without a theme,” meaning that we prefer to give off a FEELING rather than a focus on a logo.

Creating snake-like curves throughout the room with the couch and ceiling balloons, and stripes on details such as pillows and in the flower design, this family walked in and mouths dropped open.

THE CLIENT TRUSTED AND SAW IT ON THE DAY OF!

STC not only Planned but also Created for this mitzvah, producing the underlay for the card box.
