How Authenticity and Vulnerability Pay Off and Help You Win Personally and Professionally
From your experience or perspective, what are some of the common barriers that hold someone back from being authentic and vulnerable?
What I’ve learned throughout life, but especially over the past few years, is that most people want so badly to be liked and accepted that they would rather go along with the crowd when it comes to opinions, style, and thoughts. With social media, if your opinion differs from most, you get attacked, degraded, shamed. It makes sense to take the easier way out, but to me, I could never. Being able to hold an opinion, to be able to take a stand and ask questions, to be able to present myself authentically without hiding behind a façade, now THAT is easier spiritually and morally. With social media and podcasts, and having good engagement and “likes,” it’s also easy to get caught up with what sells and gets the most views to help people feel fame, even in a small way. If your post gets 2 likes, it’s telling you that speaking or showing on that topic isn’t going to be as beneficial as another, which may not be the direction you’d ideally like to go in, but you do, because it feels good or it sells.
how to build lasting customer relationships
RESPECT — We treat each client with respect, no matter what package they choose to book with us. I know vendors who treat their highest-paying clients with the most attention and the lowest-paying with the least attention, but I am someone who has grown up with the philosophy that you treat the janitor with the same respect you would the President, as one, is not a better person than the other. Every person deserves respect and honor, and each person has a story that we don’t fully know. And our clients feel that — we do not talk down to anyone, even if they need a lot of education on the planning process.
how to thrive as a working mother
It’s common to speak on being an Entrepreneur, and it’s common to speak on being a Mother, but it’s not so common to speak on being able to thrive as a Working Mother.

For now, I’ll just share my favorite one, #3:
“3 . You have to be yourself and WANT to be different. If you want to be like everyone else, go work for someone else. If you want to do your own thing and show up as the unique person you are, then you can be a successful entrepreneur. But copying the ideas or work of others, being a follower in the most respectful sense of the word, well that just doesn’t equate to being a successful leader and business owner. I have never wanted to be like “everyone else” — boring! As I treat each client as their own special being, I treat myself that way as well. I am unique and should value myself as such.”

how to find a good event planner
Tips from a professional on how to find a good event planner:
1) Don’t just google “event planners” but really look at those reviews. What are they SAYING? What are they NOT saying? Think about what’s important to YOU and see if these reviews are saying anything that is actually important to you, not just to them. Additionally, you want to review them in a way where you can tell if they’re really new and just having their friends write testimonials or if they are legit.

MOST ASKED WEDDING PLANNER QUESTIONS
There’s a lot of confusion when it comes to Wedding Planning. Why do you need one? What if the venue has a coordinator? (Answer: They work for the venue and won’t be managing everything and everyone to make sure your day goes smoothly, and they definitely won’t be helping with any planning details beforehand!)
