family in the wedding
Do you have to include family in your wedding party?
I was asked for my expert opinion on this (click below!), and if you don’t include family, you just have to be sure about your decision. You cannot take it back.
And this comes up all the time, even inviting certain family members to the wedding!
What do you do if you haven’t spoken to you grandfather in 10 years?
I guide clients like this: Do you think you’ll look back in 20 years from now and regret not inviting them? If you truly do not think you will regret it, it might be the right decision for YOU to continue on without them. It could be awkward suddenly inviting them when you haven’t spoken. But if you feel like you could regret it, what’s the harm in inviting them? If they choose not to come, that’s their choice, but you have done what you felt was best/right.
What is right for YOU?
