the difference in Planning all types of events

From mitzvahs to birthdays to weddings, and everything in between, planning events is something just LOVE. It’s in my blood. People always say they could feel my passion for the work from the first conversation they had with me and it made them even more excited to have their event. Whoo hoo! Nothing makes me happier than getting people excited to celebrate life.

Many Planners set a niche for themselves, “Wedding Planner,” “Party Planner,” “Mitzvah Planner,” “Event Planner” and more, and we could easily do that, but why stop the passion and excitement with just one type of event?!

But what are the similarities and differences in planning each type of event?

  1. Planning Weddings - When planning at a venue, finding the perfect place is the first step, and when planning at an outdoor space, tenting or figuring out the type of environment desired must be done from the start. Following the location, the big vendors are next to be booked. And booking the right vendors is huge. Then come all of the details, and between the ceremony and the reception, there are lots of them!

  2. Planning Birthdays - People often think this is a quick job, but we don’t do anything half-a**. If we are going to do something, we are going to do it right. We want you to walk in and be in awe, exceeding your expectations.

  3. Planning Mitzvahs - Creating an event that makes the parents and guest of honor happy isn’t always an easy job (Same for weddings when parents are involved!), especially because the guest is at an age where they might not know exactly what they want or don’t want. This type of planning includes logo creation, themes, swag to give out to guests, and most (if not all) of the focus on the reception (from an Event Planning perspective).

  4. Party Planning - We don’t “party plan.” Everything we do is an EVENT. A party can be created by putting on some dance music and dancing around your living room (That’s us every 27th of the month!). But an EVENT is an experience. So while their are Party Planners out there, we are not them. We are Event Planners, and we love providing you with the exceptional service and creativity you deserve.

Whatever type of event you desire, we are here to make magic happen and help you ENJOY the process as well. Let’s get started!
